Flävar has unveiled two new vodka bottle flavours after investing a six-figure sum into its UK retail expansion plans this year.
Since the on-trade launch in May 2022, the Swedish schnapps brand has sold over 100,000 bottles, indicates a consumer favourability towards sweet and dessert-style flavourings.
Aiming to appeal to a 18-25 demographic, the Swedish team are also introducing two new flavours – Flävar Blueberry & Lemon and Flävar Lemon Pie (both 25% ABV) – to coincide with the investment.

The new products join the existing range which includes: Flävar Salted Caramel, Flävar Strawberry and Lime and Flävar Raspberry & Liquorice, all with an RRP of £19.99 for 70cl, 25% ABV.
“Schnapps is huge across Northern Europe and without doubt there’s room for a fresh approach in the UK. The Swedish market has always been innovative with schnapps and liqueur flavours, but we generally see much less of it with spirits in the UK,” founder of Flävar, Rolf Munding said.
He added: “Blueberry and Lemon is packed with flavour and is reminiscent of a juicy, indulgent muffin – a much loved treat in Sweden. Best served chilled in a shot glass, or in a longer drink with a lemon garnish and some lemonade.
“Essentially we’ve created a muffin in a shot glass, its unlike anything out there at the moment,” Munding said.
Head of Marketing Matt Bandy says, “We believe our range, created on the shores of the beautiful Lake Boren in Southern Sweden with award-winning vodka, fills a gap in the market for a modern take on a retro classic, one steeped in quality and innovation in product development.”
Bandy continued: “Having tested the products in the on-trade to great success, we know that now is the right time to invest in supermarkets and help them find their Flävar too.”
