Tindle plant-based products roll out in Morrisons for Veganuary

Plant-based chicken brand Tindle is set to launch three new products across Morrisons stores as Veganuary approaches.

The offerings rolling out in the supermarket giant‘s stores from 26 December include plant-based wings, nuggets and burgers, each priced at £3 per package.

The products – which are usually featured on restaurant menus, including BrewDog, BIRD Fried Chicken & Waffle and Clean Kitchen – are set to appear on Morrisons shelves for a limited time and will be available in stores and online until 24 January 2023.

The launch is taking place as the brand looks to make plant-based dining more accessible, bringing Tindle products to consumers homes in time for the annual Veganuary challenge which looks to encourage more people to eat vegan food.

This comes as Big 4 grocer Asda has launched a range of 97 vegan Christmas products and Waitrose has added more vegan products than ever to its festive range as it has seen orders for vegan and vegetarian lines increase by 49% compared with last year.

Earlier this month, online-only grocer Ocado reported a spike in interest for vegan Christmas food, revealing searches for ‘Christmas vegan’ had more than tripled, rising by 389% during the last week of November.
