BŌL Foods

Plant-based B Corp brand, BŌL Foods has rolled out two new products, Spiced Purple Carrot Power Soup and Creamy Tikka Masala Fresh Veg Pot.

The soup which comes in a 600g jar provides two of your five a day, 15g of protein, 18g high in fibre and is gluten free at an RRP of £3.25.

The Veg Pot which is also gluten free and two of your five a day comes in a 345g format at £3.45, with both new items available via leading retailer Tesco.

Snack a Jacks

Rice cake brand Snack a Jacks has added a non-high in fat, salt of sugar (non-HFSS) Black Pepper and Sea Salt flavour to its current range of sweet and savoury rice cakes.

The launch comes as the brand’s owner PepsiCo has set a 2025 ambition that half of its snacks sales will come from products that do not classify as HFSS, or from products sold in portions of 100 calories or less.

The new product also forms part of Snack a Jacks ‘Yumbelievable!’ campaign running from 10 November to 19 December, which looks to address the perception that smarter snacking options such as rice cakes can mean a compromise on taste.

Kallø

Organic food brand Kallø is set to launch a new flavour of its Veggie Cakes range, Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar in jumbo pack format.

Vegan, HFSS compliant and gluten-free, the snack is made from lentil and peas.

Each 122g pack contains 13 cakes and will be launching in Waitrose this month at RRP £2.50.

10 Acre

Crisp producer 10 Acre has launched a new range of carbon neutral, hand-cooked, vegan and gluten-free crisps.

Available in flavours Cheesy Chilli, Cheese & Onion, Fried Chicken, Sea Salt and BBQ Beef, the crisps are all HFSS compliant.

Made using potatoes grown at 10 Acre’s farm and fried on site to reduce food miles, Fairfields Farm Produce co-owner Robert Strathern said, “the new 10 Acre branding gives a subtle nod to nature and sustainability, with hand-illustrated graphics across the range, marking our commitment to being carbon neutral and running the farm for the benefit of the future, not just for now.”

Minor Figures

Coffee company Minor Figures has rolled out Everyday Oat and Everyday Oat Light milk alternatives.

Building on its current product range, the all-purpose Oat M*lks will for the first time go beyond Minor Figures speciality coffee offerings.

Designed to be paired with cereal, smoothies or coffee, the products are now available in 300 Tesco and 400 Morrisons stores at RRP £1.99.
