Leon is to more than double the number of self-serve coffee kiosks in Asda and EG Group forecourts to over 200 before the end of January.
Currently, Asda houses 33 self-serve coffee kiosks, however, from early next year, the Big 4 grocer plans to feature over 100, compared with a further four being added to EG Group’s 65 kiosks.
“Today’s announcement marks another milestone in our expansion programme – and shows how Leon’s coffee is fast becoming a favourite with coffee drinkers across the UK. We continue to invest and innovate, with the intention to make Leon more accessible to more customers,” Leon managing director Glenn Edwards said.

“Whether in our drive-thrus, restaurants, self-serve or through our grocery offer, we continue to make it easier for everybody to eat well, live well and be kind to the planet.”
The news comes as Asda teamed up with Craft on Draft to launch a fresh beer, cider and cocktail concept at its Asda Pudsey store in Leeds.
The initiative will offer shoppers a sample menu of 12 regularly changing beers, ciders and cocktails alongside expert advice from the Craft on Draft team to help customers find a beverage that best suits their taste.
Last year, Asda and EG Group owners, the Issa brothers, acquired Leon for £100 million.
