Eden Mill Distillery teams up with Gordon Ramsay to launch exclusive dry gin

Scotland-based Eden Mill Distillery has partnered with world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay to launch an exclusive premium London Dry gin named Ramsay’s Gin.

The exclusive gin is inspired by the “rivers, lochs and landscapes of Scotland,” with botanicals selected from the wild coastline of Fife.

The partnership reflects a significant investment from the premium whisky and gin distiller which was established by Paul Miller 12 years ago.

Ramsay’s Gin is stocked in Sainsbury’s, Scotmid, and small independent farm shops, among other stores. It is also available in on-trade establishments including the Fairmont Golf Club and The Bank Bar.

Across the UK, it is available in all of Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurant’s and Eden Mill’s online store. It currently has an RRP of £28.

With PR and social media campaigns to support the marketing slogan ‘ordinary just isn’t good enough’, the gin has been launched with three new and exclusive cocktail recipes devised by Ramsay to demonstrate the liquid’s versatility.

Commenting on the partnership, Gordon Ramsay said: “It’s exciting to work with a team that shares my passion for experimenting with unique ingredients.”

He added: “We’re very fortunate that the home of Eden Mill is close to where these exceptional botanicals can be found.”

Eden Mill’s marketing director Matthew Turner also commented on the high-profile partnership, saying: “Gordon Ramsay is an iconic and visionary chef who is renowned for his appreciation of the finest ingredients and production techniques.

“He is also somebody who has a deep affinity with Scottish heritage and is proud of his association with the country.

“This partnership and collaboration between Eden Mill and Gordon have produced a very special, flavourful gin, which is uniquely Scottish in provenance, and we are incredibly proud to be working together.”

Eden Mill Distillery was given the green light to become one of the world’s first carbon-neutral distilleries back in March.
