In celebration of National Chocolate Week, grocery delivery service Britsuperstore analysed over 4.5 million search results to unveil the UK’s favourite chocolate bar.
With 500,000 searches over the past year and a 6% search volume increase since 2021, Kinder Bueno was found to be the nation’s favourite.
Other popular chocolate bars include Snickers and Caramac with over 200,000 searches each, as well as Dairy Milk and Mars Bar also making it within the top five.
Among brands, Cadbury, Toblerone, Nestle, Lindt and Galaxy were found to be those most often searched for, while dark chocolate came out on top as the UK’s favourite type of chocolate with 178,228 searches.
This comes as over two thirds of Brits have confessed to being chocoholics and 45% said they would struggle if they has to give it up.
In July, Britsuperstore analysed over 10 million UK search results for National Chocolate Day and found Ferrero Rocher to be the favourite chocolate of choice at the time, with more than 900,000 searches.
This research found Snickers and Caramac to be two of the most popular bars and dark chocolate was also the most searched for type of chocolate three months ago.
