“We know that with the cost of living squeeze Christmas can be quite a strain on the wallet – especially for families with more than one child – so we want to make it easier for them to spread the cost of buying presents,” Tesco toy category manager, Anne Borrett said.
She added: “We’ve chosen some of the most popular and latest toys for children of all ages for the sale.”
Running until 2 November in 260 of the leading retailer’s stores, the sale will include brand’s such as LEGO, Barbie, Disney, Peppa Pig, Hot Wheels, Pokemon, DC Batman, Marvel Avengers, Sylvanian Families, VTech and Squishmallow.
This news comes following Tesco’s recent partnership with toy shop, The Entertainer which will see a number of branded instore toy concessions opened across 35 of the retailer’s stores in time for the Christmas peak sales period.
The Entertainer will retain full oversight of product range, pricing and merchandising across the stores, while running free-of-charge and all-year-round events plus character visits for children of all ages.
