Five new products: Smirnoff, Boost Drinks, Batchelors, Corona, John West



Diageo vodka brand, Smirnoff has added a brand new flavour to its 250ml Premix ready to drink range.

The Mango and Passionfruit Twist flavoured vodka mixed with lemonade has a 4.5% ABV.

Available as a single slimline can or price marked pack, the new product is set to roll out across off-trade throughout September.

Boost Drinks

Energy drinks brand, Boost has launched a Tropical Fruit Sour Punch flavour of its Juic’d drinks.

The 500ml can adds to the brand’s current selection which features other flavours including Mango & Tropical Blitz, Pineapple & Guava Punch and Watermelon & Lime Twist.

The expansion of the range comes as its the 500ml cans sales have seen a growth of 28%, making it the fastest developing category in energy drinks.


Premier Foods has launched two new flavours of its Batchelor Pasta ‘n’ Sauce brand with Creamy Four Cheese and Caramelised Onion and Smoky Bacon.

Both new products are currently available in Morrisons at £1.29.

“We want to provide our customers with a new, more premium option that delivers on flavour – whilst still offering the convenience and practicality that they are looking for within the category,” Premier Foods brand director for quick meals, soups and snacks, Naomi Shooman said.


Beer brand Corona has launched an alcoholic sparkling water, Corona Tropical.

Made with fruit juice, the products available in flavours: Guava & Lime, Raspberry & Lemon and Grapefruit & Lemongrass are set to roll out nationwide.

Each 330ml can contains 96 calories and 2.4g of sugar, launching in both single can formats and an 8x330ml option via supermarkets and convenience stores.

John West

Tinned fish brand, John West has extended its single-serve Infusions range with 3x80g MSC-certified skinless and boneless Pink Salmon and a 3x60g Tuna Infusions.

Available in flavours Chilli & Garlic, Lemon & Thyme and Basil, the products can be purchased via Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado, Amazon, B&M and Home Bargains.

The three-pack pots add to the brand’s existing single-serve range which features No Drain Tuna Steak and Tuna Chunks.
