7UP partners with Uber Eats for grocery promotion

The parent company of 7UP, Britvic, has partnered with Uber Eats for a grocery promotion to run throughout the summer, giving customers the chance to win Uber Eats vouchers.

The on-pack promotion, which runs from mid-May to September, features prizes including 50% off an Uber Eats grocery shop, or a two litre bottle of 7UP.

Each promotional can or bottle will display a QR code, which customers can scan for a chance of winning.

“At Uber Eats we want to empower our customers to get whatever they want, whenever they want,” Uber Eats UK head of grocery and new verticals Alex Troughton said.

“We’re excited to be partnering with 7UP to offer their customers the chance to get great deals on their first grocery order on Uber Eats.”

The pair will also will support the promotion with an outdoor and digital campaign, as well as on the food delivery app, which will reach 90% of carbonated soft drinks buyers, they anticipate.

Britvic home commercial director added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Uber Eats over the summer, especially considering that 27% of soft drinks bought through food deliveries are flavoured carbonates.

“As the demand for rapid delivery continues, this strong partnership is a fantastic opportunity to boost the visibility of 7UP as the ideal accompaniment to an evening meal, putting the brand front of mind for future shopping missions.”
