Waitrose has relaunched its Wine Tasting at Home ‘in person’ experience, which was originally launched during lockdown two years ago to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
The in person tasting allows customers to discover the fundamentals of wine tasting from the comfort of their own home.
As a result, six bottles of wine will be delivered prior to the tasting and sampled during the session, with an expert partner guiding guests through each wine while also providing guidance on food and wine pairings.
A full Q&A will also take place at the end of the experience.

Prices start at £35 per person, with in person tastings being postcode dependent.
“We know how much our customers enjoyed our drinks experiences, from gin and cocktails to wine tasting, which is why it was important to us to be able to continue these virtually over the past two years,” Waitrose drinks experiences manager Andrew Riding said.
“But now in-person tastings are back and we are delighted to bring these experiences to people in their own homes. It’s also a great way to reconnect teams at work as we return to the office once again”.
He added: “To support with demand, we’ve trained up nearly 50 Waitrose Partners* by supporting them through their Level 2 Wine Spirit Education Trust (WSET) qualifications so our customers know that the experience will be first class every time.
