Ocado campaign focuses on Everyday Savers value range

Ocado has launched its latest advertising campaign today, with a focus on the Everyday Savers range, which offers lower prices across a range of essentials.

The latest multi-platform campaign from the online grocery retailer highlights its focus on “providing shoppers with quality products at affordable prices”.

Ocado’s focus on affordable groceries comes at a time when UK consumers are facing the highest levels of inflation in over a decade, with supply chain issues and record fuel prices sending the cost of living soaring.

The campaign, called “Ocado – Bringing Great Value to the Table,” will be running across television, video-on-demand, digital, social, press and radio until 13 March, 2022. Devised by creative agency St Luke’s, the 30-second television ad shows a stream of products emerging from an Ocado van on a never-ending table which travels into people’s houses.

The final shot sees the table climbing some stairs and travelling past a bathroom door, which then opens for a hand to swipe some loo roll. The ad ends with the message: “At Ocado we’re bringing great value to the table with our Everyday Savers’.

“With a wider range than any other supermarket, Ocado truly has something for everyone,” commented Laura Harricks, chief customer officer at Ocado Retail. “We’re excited to bring to life our extensive selection of Everyday Savers, perfectly illustrated with a never-ending table of essentials.”

Other supermarkets have also addressed the cost-of-living crisis in recent weeks. Iceland will be offering “ethical and affordable” loans to customers who are in financial difficulty, while Tesco has launched Clubcard Pay +, which allows customers to ringfence their grocery spend.
