Spirits producer Roust has appointed Neil Jardine as its new managing director for its UK distribution business.
According to the company, Jardine’s responsibilities will include taking leadership of its innovation and sustainability programme within the country and focusing on the expansion of the business’s portfolio to further drive “future growth and profitability.”
He joins the vodka producer after serving as the managing director for Disaronno UK, where he has been “instrumental” in launching the business.
His prior work experience includes over 25 years in FMCG, with senior positions at Nestlé, Sara Lee and Greene King.
“We are delighted to have appointed Neil to take over the running of our business in the UK, which is a key export market for Roust and our portfolio of vodka brands,” Roust managing director for the Middle East and East Asia Jonathan Ashworth said.
Jardine added: “I have been a long-term admirer of the Roust vodka portfolio and the rich history and provenance of Russian Standard and Żubrówka.
“The opportunity to have a hand in shaping the future of Roust brands in the UK is extremely energising, and I am privileged to have been given the opportunity.”
