Northfork appoints VP of product as demand for groceries rise

Recipe shopping technology provider Northfork has appointed José Namén as its new vice president of product.

According to the company, the appointment will allow the company to capitalise on the increase in online grocery sales triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Namén’s experience includes over a decade at the heart of the digital/recipe space, most recently as global head of the Thermomix recipe business at Vorwerk

In his new position, he will also lead on the product roadmap, developing new, client-driven and market-driven products in line with evolving tech.

“I’m looking forward to supporting Northfork’s clients to achieve outstanding value from the company’s products,He will be based in the UK, rather than at Northfork’s Swedish headquarters,” Namén said.

“José is a world-class business leader with extensive experience in the technology and food industries. His experience and passion for the Northfork product will be invaluable in helping even more retailers and publishers discover the benefits of our innovative recipe shopping solutions,” said Co-founder Erik Wallin said.

Over the coming months, Northfork is planning a series of announcements regarding both its geographical spread and its expanding product line, with Namén acting as one of the driving forces behind the company’s continuing development, the company revealed.
