Bahlsen promotes Phil Bones as commercial director

Confectionary company Bahlsen has announced the promotion of Phil Bones as commercial director.

Bones joined the company last year as head of sales, joining from Ferrero, where he held the position of business unit controller of grocery, a role he held since 2016.

Bones takes the helm of the Bahlsen from former UK managing director Jonathan Duffin, who has been promoted to chief commercial officer.

Bones also held senior positions at chocolate company Thorntons, where he worked as its senior business manager for Big 4 grocer Tesco and business unit controller for groceries.

He has also held positions at HJ Heinz and Britvic Soft Drinks.
