Tim Tam marketing manager Rebecca Chan said: “Whilst Tim Tam is Australia’s favourite chocolatey biscuit, we know how loved this delicious biscuit is around the world.”
She added that the brand is “now directly available in the UK for consumers to enjoy as a special treat or when catching up with family and friends.”
Tim Tams are Australia’s favorite chocolate biscuit, with owner Arnott’s reporting that it sells around 30 million packs per year.
Its arrival comes as US frozen snack brand trüfrü made its debut in the UK market, with its first supermarket listing in Tesco.
The brand will initially launch with three flavours including Strawberries in White and Milk Chocolate, Raspberries in White and Dark Chocolate, and Piña Colada Pineapple in White Chocolate and Coconut.
