Mars Food UK has promoted Armen Topalian as its UK market director.
Topalian joined Mars in 2016, where he held the position of customer development director, before being promoted to sales director of key accounts in the same year.
Most recently, he held the position of acting general manager.
The company said Topalian would combine his responsibilities as Sales Director with overall responsibility of the Mars Food UK business and sit on Mars’ European Food leadership team.

He joined Mars Food UK from Iglo Group Limited, where he held senior positions which included grocery trading director, business unit director and head of trading markets.
Topalian has also held senior positions at Unilever and Symphony IRI Group.
The news comes as the confectionery brand announced the appointment of Adam Grant as general manager.
Grant succeeds David Manzini, who joined PepsiCo earlier this year after seven years at Mars.
