Pot Noodle has secured a nationwide listing in Tesco’s Meal Deal, with its Chicken & Mushroom pots rolling out as a snack option across more than 600 of the supermarket’s larger stores.

The Unilever-owned brand’s 90g Chicken & Mushroom SKU is now available as part of both Tesco’s standard and premium Meal Deal tiers, adding a hot food option to the retailer’s food-to-go range.

Unilever said social media content around the so-called “Pot Noodle sandwich” reached more than 7.7 million people last year, helping to drive interest in the combination.

To support the Tesco rollout, Chicken & Mushroom pots will feature a dedicated ‘Meal Deal Snack’ callout on pack and will be merchandised within Tesco’s food-to-go fixtures.

The SKU has been selected to lead the expansion as Pot Noodle’s bestselling and most widely distributed variant.

Unilever Mini Meals UK&I marketing manager Madeleine Boulton said: “We are delighted to grow our partnership with Tesco and bring Pot Noodle to shoppers as part of the much-loved meal deal.

“We know consumers are always looking for ways to get more value and a better lunch and there has been a lot of hype on social media pairing Pot Noodle with sandwiches, so this felt like the right moment to take the partnership further.”

She added that the listing would provide “greater choice and value within the food-to-go aisle”.

Pot Noodle will be available within Tesco’s standard Meal Deal, priced at £3.85 with a Clubcard or £4.25 without, as well as its premium Meal Deal, which costs £5.50 with a Clubcard or £6 for non-members.

The nationwide listing follows the product’s introduction into Tesco Meal Deals from July 2026 and marks a further expansion of Pot Noodle’s presence in the convenience and food-to-go market.
