Waitrose rolls out delivery pass subscription nationwide
Waitrose is rolling out a new subscription delivery service nationwide following a successful trial, offering online customers potential savings of up to £123 per year.
The grocery retailer’s new ‘Waitrose Delivery Pass’ allows shoppers with a Waitrose.com account to pre-pay for delivery slots over one, six, or twelve-month periods.
Pass holders can book up to one available grocery delivery slot per day without incurring individual delivery fees, which usually range from £2 to £4.
Pricing is set at £8 for a one-month pass, £45 for six months, and £85 for a full year, with Waitrose estimating the annual pass saves regular customers significant amounts versus paying per delivery.

Delivery Pass subscribers will also gain early access to coveted Christmas grocery slots when they open in September.
Waitrose online director Laura Burbedge said: “We’re investing in our online business to continuously improve it, giving our customers even greater value and the best possible experience.
“Thousands of customers signed up for Delivery Passes through our trial, so we expect to see strong demand across the UK as we roll it out.”
The subscription initiative comes as the latest step in Waitrose’s digital growth push. Last month, it introduced linked offers for My Waitrose loyalty members ordering via Uber Eats.
