Condiment brand Toss has secured £660,000 in funding from a collection of venture capital, angel investors, and industry founders.

The investment will be used to grow brand awareness, scale retail distribution, and expand its product lines.

Toss aims to push the brand’s transition from an occasional salad topping to a kitchen staple across the country.

Some of the investors include FIGR, the family office behind Citizens of Soil, and the founders of plant-based brand confectionery brand Tribe.

Grace Devlin, co-founder of Toss said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have brought together such an incredible group of investors to support Toss.

“From the very beginning, our priority wasn’t simply raising capital; it was finding partners who genuinely believe in our vision and who can add value as we scale the business.

“Every one of our investors brings a unique perspective, experience, and network, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the belief they’ve shown in us.”

According to the founder, the investment will allow the business to build Toss into the UK’s everyday squeeze and change salad dressings from occasional toppings to daily ingredients.

Devlin added: “We’ll be investing heavily in building consumer awareness and driving trials, whilst continuing to grow our direct-to-consumer community alongside our retail footprint.

“We’ll also be launching new product formats that make it even easier for consumers to incorporate Toss into everyday meals, whether that’s drizzling, dipping, marinating, glazing, or spreading.”

Toss’ products are available at Holland & Barrett online, Selfridges, wholesalers, and over 100 farm shops and delis.
