KitKat expands sharing bar range with Milk Chocolate and Brownie flavours

News

KitKat has expanded its sharing bar range with the launch of two new flavours, Milk Chocolate and Brownie.

The new products join the brand’s existing Hazelnut, Salted Caramel, Double Chocolate and Cookie Dough sharing bars and are available to order now through wholesalers across the UK.

Nestlé said KitKat Sharing Bars, which launched last year, have already become the fifth best-selling sharing bar brand in convenience, generating £18.4m in value.

The new KitKat Milk Chocolate Sharing Bar combines crispy wafer with a cocoa-flavoured filling and milk chocolate, offering a creamier and richer take on the classic KitKat flavour.

Meanwhile, the KitKat Brownie Sharing Bar pairs crispy wafer with milk and dark chocolate and a smooth brownie-flavoured filling.

Both products feature multiple break-off pieces, positioning them for sharing occasions with friends and family.

Nestlé said new product development accounts for 32.9 per cent of value growth in convenience and 5.6 per cent of total sales over the past year.

KitKat is currently worth £338m annually and is growing 11.4 per cent year on year, according to the company.

Stephanie Scales, marketing manager for KitKat at Nestlé UK & Ireland, said: “We know a KitKat break is often about those small, everyday moments, whether you’re sharing with friends or taking five minutes to yourself.

“After winning over fans with our sharing bars, we wanted to bring even more flavour and choice into those moments. From the elevated Milk Chocolate to something rich and tasty like Brownie, there’s a bar to suit whatever you’re in the mood for.”
