Superfood drinks brand Revibed recently launched its Ube Purple Yam Powder at Holland & Barrett, with two further flavours set to follow in September.

The brand’s Hibiscus & Vanilla and Cocoa & Moringa powders will join the range across 200 Holland & Barrett stores and online.

All three products are made in the UK using natural ingredients and are low in sugar and suitable for vegans.

The powders are positioned as a healthier alternative to conventional flavoured drink mixes and have been developed to tap into growing consumer interest in matcha, colourful lattes and functional beverages.

Each flavour will be sold in a 120g pouch priced at £19.99.

Revibed was founded by father-and-son team Ivor and Eugene Patterson and officially launched in 2020.

The business was inspired by drinks made in the family home using ingredients including hibiscus, ginger and lime, alongside the founders’ Caribbean heritage.

Revibed founder Eugene Patterson said: “Growing up, I watched my father use ingredients such as hibiscus, ginger and lime to create a delicious and refreshing drink for everyone to enjoy, creating the perfect vibe throughout the festive period.

“After travelling around South East Asia, I discovered the many health benefits of hibiscus and other superfoods, motivating me to create a unique tasting drink for others to enjoy, whilst reaping the nutritional benefits.”

He added: “Since then, we have expanded our range of canned drinks to include superfood powders, tapping into the current matcha and colourful latte trend.

“We are thrilled about how our Ube Purple Yam Powder has been received so far, and we look forward to our two brand-new flavours also launching in Holland & Barrett later this year.”

Alongside its powder range, Revibed sells flavoured sparkling waters including Apple & Moringa, Raspberry & Acai, Hibiscus & Peach and Passionfruit & Ginger.

The Ube Purple Yam Powder is available now, with the remaining two flavours launching in September.
