Symprove secures listings at Waitrose and Superdrug

Probiotic supplement brand Symprove is expanding its retail presence in the UK with new launches in Superdrug and Waitrose.

From this week, the brand will be stocked across 225 Superdrug stores and will later rollout into 120 Waitrose stores from 10 August.

Symprove’s one-week packs in Mango & Passionfruit and Strawberry & Raspberry flavours will land at the retailers for an RRP of £22.99 each, which offers a convenient way for shoppers to try the products.

This move strengthens the brand’s footprint across the health and beauty grocery channels and makes it easier for new customers to discover the range of products.

Will Bowler, CEO of Symprove, said: “We’re delighted to be launching in to both Superdrug amnd Waitrose, shops that we know our customers love.

“We’ve seen demand for evidence-backed gut health products continue to rise and these listings make Symprove much easier to find, whether they’re trying it for the first time or buying their next bottle.”

Earlier this year in April, Symprove secured a retail listing at Tesco, which marked a move into mainstream supermarkets compared to its initial DTC channels.

The brand was also selected to be part of Tesco’s accelerator programme, which was made to support challenger brands by providing increased visibility and strategic business support.
