Asda has bolstered its ‘Exceptional’ cheese range by adding 12 new products to the line, to offer premium-quality cheese options at an affordable price over the summer.

This launch comes after the retailer’s success at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards, where the range collected 19 awards.

Some of the new products include Triple Crème Brie, Old Amsterdam Mature Gouda and Bleu D’Affinois which costs £3.12, £4.25 and £3.80 respectively.

The full range is now available in stores nationwide and online at the retailer’s website.

The expansion aims to tap into affordable luxury and dining at home trends over the summer months.

Matt Forde, Asda’s product development manager for cheese said: “We knew our customers wanted more variety within the premium cheese category, to bring tasting experiences such as ‘cheese trolleys’ and ‘pairings’ home, but for the fraction of the price, so we’re delighted to bring twelve new cheese products into our Exceptional range”

“The launch allows shoppers to experiment with different flavours and textures. From soft to hard, smoked to blue and territorial cheeses, we have something for everyone’s taste in the range.

“Whether its for daring cheeseboards or elevated mealtimes, there’s classic staples in there too, which we know customers will be reaching for this summer and beyond”.
