Asda has extended its delivery times to offer customers groceries and essentials for the late-night World Cup Games.

The supermarket is extending its delivery hours at select stores from 10pm to either 11pm or midnight depending on the location.

Customers will now be able to order Asda groceries, drinks and essentials for extended hours through delivery platforms including Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

This move aims to meet demand for essentials during the World Cup summer tournament, with several matches beginning at 11pm or later because of the North American time difference.

Asda is offering convenience for shoppers by extending its doorstep delivery to later hours during the game fixtures.

The retailer has also launched offers and discounts across its delivery partners, with Deliveroo having a 2 for £10 on Exceptional by Asda pizzas and beer deals.

On Just Eat, Asda is offering 50 per cent off on breakfast items and snacks and soft drinks on matchdays.

Additionally, on Uber Eats customers can receive up to 40 per cent off on a wide range of products during the group stages and knockout rounds across crisps, frozen party food, ice cream and more.

Last week the supermarket unveiled an in-store World Cup activation to promote purchases and sales during the tournament.
