Aldi brings back Margherita Pizza Crisps as part of Italian range

News

Aldi is bringing back its popular Cucina Margherita Pizza Crisps as part of a new Italian-inspired range landing in stores this week.

The limited-edition crisps, priced at £1.15 for 150g, will return to the middle aisle from 4 June.

The crinkle-cut snacks are seasoned with Italian herbs, cheese and tomato to recreate the flavour of a classic margherita pizza.

They will be joined by Aldi’s Cucina Garlic Bread Crisps, also priced at £1.15 for 150g, which feature a smoky garlic and herb flavour.

Both products have previously proved popular with shoppers, with fans on the Food Finds UK Official Facebook group describing the Margherita flavour as “amazing” and saying they “loved” the Garlic Bread crisps.

The returning snacks form part of Aldi’s wider Italian-inspired range, which includes Cucina Lattice Crisps in bruschetta and green pesto flavours, priced at £1.49 for 125g.

Other products in the range include Specially Selected Giant Grissini for £1.49, a Gourmet Pasta Assortment for £1.49 and Filled Gnocchi for £1.69.

Aldi is also launching Cucina Air Fryer Gnocchi, priced at £1.69, alongside Specially Selected Egg Pappardelle for £1.29 and Mezzelune Mix for £1.29.

The range also includes Specially Selected Lemon and Pistachio Pesto, Cucina Cantuccini Biscuits, cream-filled biscotti, Balconi Tiramisu and a selection of Italian sweet biscuits.

Shoppers will also be able to pick up stir-through pasta sauces in Cacio e Pepe, Tomato and ’Nduja, and Sundried Tomato, as well as pasta sauces in Pomodoro, Mushroom and Roasted Garlic, and Tomato and Mascarpone.

The Italian-inspired range will be available in Aldi stores while stocks last.
