Hide launches exclusively at Tesco this April
Lean Kitchen Network has launched a new food brand, Hide, at Tesco, which will be available from 13 April onwards.
The brand is set to stock 10 products at selected stores, including six chilled meals, two food-to-go grain bowls and two food-to-go snacks.
The food-to-go grain bowls will be part of Tesco’s meal deal as mains for £6 or £5.50 with a Clubcard, including a drink and a snack.
Additionally, the brand is launching a protein bites snacking line which has the Chicken Tikka & Lentil Bites and Jerk Chicken & Sweet Potato Bites, which are priced at £1.50 as part of the Tesco meal deal.
This new brand was created by NHS doctor Dr Rupy Aujla and backed by major UK food manufacturer Samworth Brothers.

Sam Watkins, Tesco category director for Prepared Foods, said: “We know how much our customers value choice, and launching Hide exclusively into our stores adds exciting products for those looking for great options.
“Whether it’s lunch, dinner or a snack, the range offers a selection of fibre- and protein-rich ready meals, grain bowls and snack pots that taste great.”
The range aims to meet the demand for healthy on-the-go meals, made with wholefood ingredients and a high protein content.
Faraz Nagree, founder and CEO of Lean Kitchen Network said: “That’s the gap we’re trying to close. Hide is built around one simple belief: that our meals should taste incredible, be made with honest ingredients, and be priced so that more people in the UK can eat well every day.”
