Kerrygold’s expands range with olive oil-infused butter
UK major butter brand Kerrygold is set to launch Pure Irish Butter with Olive Oil across stores from March onwards.
The brand is expanding its range with the new product which blends Irish butter with olive oil, packaged in a 200g recyclable tub.
Kerrygold’s new product will be sold in 335 Morrisons stores from March and debut in Asda stores across the UK in April, with more retail listings expected later in the year.
Nicola Blackmore-Squires, Ornua Foods UK & Europe’s marketing director, said: “Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter with Olive Oil is made with just four simple ingredients: 60 per cent pure Irish grass-fed Kerrygold butter, 26 per cent olive oil, water and a pinch of salt.

“It brings taste, simplicity and usability together to meet the needs of a growing number of consumers who want the convenience of a spreadable butter that not only tastes great but also has a simple ingredients deck.”
The rollout will be supported by a brand marketing campaign throughout 2026, which will include online media advertising, digital and social media activity, shopper activations and in-store point of sale.
This builds on the success of the Kerrygold spreadable butter which was launched last year, which was a key driver in acquiring new customers, according to the business.
Kerrygold sales have increased by 32 per cent and 14 per cent in volume over the past year.
