Beauty orders went up by 150 per cent compared to the previous year, with fragrances in particular claiming the top spot as the top-selling product.

The retail sales were boosted by discounted promotions across the platform, according to the business, with 50 per cent off flowers across the UK and a range of slashed prices at partners including Boots and Superdrug.

This follows the delivery platform receiving a record-breaking number of over 17m orders during the Christmas season.
