Bidfood appoints first culinary director
Wholesaler Bidfood has announced the appointment of food innovation manager Martin Eshelby (above) as the new culinary director.
In this newly created role, Eshelby will oversee partnerships with manufacturing brands and work on product innovation in the business.
Nicola Holden, director of sales at Bidfood said: “Martin’s passion, creativity, and deep understanding of our customers’ evolving challenges make him the ideal person to lead our culinary direction.

Over the past ten years, Eshelby has been overseeing Bidfood’s recipe development and provided sector-specific culinary solutions.
The move aims to strengthen the wholesaler’s culinary knowledge and boost its position in the market as a leader of foodservice solutions.

Eshelby brings extensive culinary experience to the role and will support the development of the supplier’s relationships.
