Duerr’s launches limited edition Christmas Marmalade Rum
Marmalade brand Duerr’s has unveiled a limited-edition Marmalade Rum, which was made in partnership with Salford Rum.
The batch was distilled with the ingredients used to make the brand’s signature marmalade, including fine-cut Seville orange marmalade, fresh orange peel, dried lemon peel and almond.
Richard Duerr said: “Marmalade is at the heart of who we are, so seeing our original recipe reimagined into a rum has been very exciting. Working with Salford Rum allowed us to create something new together that brings to life our flavours for a whole new audience.

“Salford Rum have captured the bright, warming and unmistakably Duerr’s flavour whilst celebrating their own unique product and rum style, it is the perfect Christmas treat.”
Salford Rum is known for its premium spiced rum, which offers collectable, limited-edition flavours and the move aims to bring Duerr’s products and signature flavour to a new audience.
Additionally, the new product is made with a white molasses-based rum from Guyana, which is finished with sugar and more orange to combine the flavours of marmalade with the taste of alcohol.
The Christmas collaboration will be available on Salford Rum’s website from 14 December, in 70 cl bottles priced at £42 each.
