M&S has announced 13 November as the opening date for its flagship store in Cabot Circus, Bristol City Centre, as part of a £300m investment.

The new 80,000 sq ft space will offer products from M&S Food, Fashion, Home & Beauty sectors in three floors across the stores.

The retailer’s new store will feature a 17,000 sq ft food hall with an in-store bakery, fresh market specials and a range of private-label sandwiches, salads and wraps.

Additionally, there will be a 200-seater M&S coffee shop that will serve a range of breakfast rolls, toasties, wraps, sandwiches and barista-made coffee.

Ali Ivery, regional manager at M&S, said: “We’re so excited to say: “Bristol, we are back. Our Cabot Circus flagship will be one of the most modern stores in the UK, showcasing the very best of M&S Food, Fashion, Home & Beauty for customers.

“We can promise state-of-the-art features, innovative products and, of course, more of that M&S magic – just in time for the festive season. Since we announced our return to Bristol last summer, the excitement has been growing, and we cannot wait to open the doors.

“There’s still time to join the team, so visit M&S Careers and follow our store Facebook page for the latest updates, and we look forward to seeing you on the 13th November.”

The new location is expected to bring in over 100 new jobs, and recruitment was launched last month across the coffee shop, visual merchandising, customer service and warehouse operations department sectors.

M&S Cabot Circus is a part of the sixteen stores opening in the UK in the current financial year.
