Tesco revives Patrón XO Café in exclusive UK grocery deal
Tesco has become the exclusive UK grocer to stock Patrón XO Café, four years after the cult-favourite coffee tequila liqueur was discontinued.
The ultra-premium spirit, made from Patrón Silver tequila blended with fine coffee from Veracruz and Chiapas, is now available in Tesco stores and online for £46 (70cl).
Its return follows it being discontinued in 2021, a move that originally caused widespread backlash from fans, including a petition with 4000 signatories urging parent company Bacardi to bring back the drink.

Following its new exclusive listing, Tesco Real Food has published a range of recipes using the returning favourite, including a Gingerbread Tiramisu, Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini, and a White Russian Brownie.
Tesco spirits buying manager Champagne Cleary said “We’re delighted to be the exclusive UK grocery retailer reintroducing Patrón XO Café, a truly iconic spirit that’s been missed by many.
“Its return reflects our commitment to offering customers exceptional, sought-after products, and comes at a time when interest in premium tequila continues to grow across the UK.”
