Tesco raises meal deal prices by 25p
Supermarket Tesco will increase the price of its meal deals by 25p tomorrow (21 August).
The price will rise from £3.60 to £3.85 with a Clubcard and from £4 to £4.25 without. Additionally, the retailer is increasing the price of its premium meal deal to £5.50, up from £5 with a Clubcard, while the price without will rise from £5.50 to £6.
In August 2024, the supermarket giant raised the price of a meal deal with a Clubcard from £3.40 to £3.60.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “Our meal deal remains great value and the ideal way to grab lunch on the go at just £3.85 for a main, snack and drink when bought with a Clubcard.

Tesco plans to expand its range of products in its premium meal deal in the upcoming days, introducing new finest sushi mains.
The retailer launched Pot Noodle’s products as part of its meal deal earlier this year.
Sainsbury’s also raised its meal deal prices earlier this summer from £3.75 to £3.95, marking the second price increase in under a year.

Just more profiteering on the ranges that are selling well… there’s a shock
Why don’t tesco sell gluten free sandwiches. Seems there choice is very limited. Iv been going round the supermarkets seems tesco are the worse. So people who are gluten free need to leave tesco alone seems thay not interested .
Still a good price when a Costa alone costs £3.15
