Amazon to offer up to 30% off groceries in ‘Essentials’ sale

Amazon is launching an ‘Everyday Essentials Week’ in the UK, offering discounts of 30% on groceries and up to 40% in categories including beauty, health and personal care, and pets.

From 21 to 27 May, the ecommerce giant will cut prices by up to 30% on grocery products, including deals across Cadbury, Nestlé, and Twinings ranges.

Other deals available during the week will be on wipes, shampoo, toilet roll, coffee pods, pet food and fabric softener, across brands including Flash, Kind, Lily’s Kitchen, Gillette Venus, Andrex, Fairy, Tommee Tippee and WaterWipes.

The retailer will also be offering up to 15% off everyday essentials from Amazon’s own-brand Basics, Essentials and ByAmazon lines.

To find the best deals during Everyday Essentials Week, customers can subscribe to receive deal alert notifications for recently searched items, or add items to a Wishlist for notifications if top picks are included in a deal.

Earlier this year, Amazon Fresh axed its Richmond store just over three years after its opening, reducing the retailer’s number of UK grocery stores to 19.

The shop launched in December 2021 on The Quadrant and, at the time, marked Amazon’s 10th Fresh site in the UK.
