Quality Street discontinues popular chocolate bar
Quality Street has officially discontinued its Collisions sharing bar, just a year after its much-anticipated launch.
The chocolate bar, which combined the fan-favourite flavours of The Purple One and the Green Triangle, was confirmed as discontinued when a concerned shopper took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask, “Has the Collisions bar been discontinued? I can’t find it anymore; it was my favourite chocolate bar of all time.”
Quality Street responded saying, “Unfortunately, it wasn’t as popular as others in the range, so it has been discontinued.”

This response sparked further disappointment among fans, with another user lamenting, “it was my favourite bar.”
Introduced in August 2023, the Quality Street Collisions bar was a combination of caramel, creamy hazelnut, and crunchy hazelnut pieces layered together. Before its removal from shelves, the 235g bar could be found at major supermarkets.
However, shoppers can still purchase the 87g Purple One sharing bar from most UK supermarkets.
Earlier this year, Quality Street owner Nestlé began a trial of a first-of-its-kind paper tub for the iconic Christmas chocolate brand.
More than 200,000 paper tubs were planned to roll out to selected Tesco supermarkets this festive season, carrying around 150 tonnes of the sweets in total.
