Zizzi launches trio of new products in Tesco and Waitrose
Italian restaurant chain Zizzi is to launch three new high-quality products into Tesco and Waitrose, as part of its dine in at home range.
In Waitrose, new products which will roll out to stores nationwide this month include Zizzi’s Rustica Aubergine Parmigiana Pizza, which will be exclusive to the upmarket grocer, alongside a Rustica Sticky Pig Pizza, and a newly improved Garlic Bread with Mozzarella.
The Tesco launch today (28 October) also includes the Rustica Sticky Pig Pizza, a new Pappardelle Beef Ragu, as well as a new and improved Casareccia Chicken Piccante.

Other dishes in the Tesco selection include an Italian Ham and Mushroom Rustica Pizza, Piccante Pepperoni, Chorizo Carbonara, and a Carne Piccante Calzone.
Zizzi retail and grocery director Rachel Hendry said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our new retail ranges in both Tesco and Waitrose. We have worked hard to develop unique products and delicious recipes using high-quality, recognisably Zizzi ingredients.
“Waitrose and Tesco shoppers will be able to enjoy the restaurant experience with our delicious Zizzi favourites which we’ve worked hard to adapt for at home dishes. We have also improved our recipes to ensure they continue to closely align to the in-restaurant dishes.”
Zizzi first made its grocery debut with Sainsbury’s in 2020 and has since rolled out products to most leading supermarkets in the UK.
Earlier this year, the restaurant chain ramped up its in-store marketing with Zizzi-branded frozen bays in Morrisons, alongside a new meal deal in 200 of the supermarket’s stores, which has resulted in the brand selling almost 1,000 pizzas a day.
