Crisp brand Pom Bear has launched two new flavours and a new marketing campaign to mark the summer holidays.

The brand unveiled the new cheese and BBQ flavours, which are both gluten-free, include no artificial flavours or colours, and are just 65 calories per pack, in its latest 20-second TV advert, which looks to showcase how snacks like Pom Bear can unite young families during the holiday period.

The clip, aimed at busy parents, will run across TV, video-on-demand, radio and social media, and will be supported by a dedicated influencer and creator strategy to drive greater engagement.

KP Snacks marketing controller Philip Jackson said: “We are excited to launch ‘Put a Little Pom in Your Day’ with Iris. This initiative beautifully captures the essence of our brand and the spontaneous joy our snacks bring to families.”

Isabelle Taylor, business director at creative agency Iris, added: “Our goal was to create a sweet, memorable and playful campaign that emphasises the small, joyous moments between parents and children. ‘Put a Little Pom in Your Day’ perfectly encapsulates this, and we are thrilled to see it come to life.”

Earlier this year, Pom Bear manufacturer KP Snacks unveiled plans to cut over 100 tonnes of plastic packaging annually, as it invested in new flow wrap equipment.

The process will see a 35% reduction in plastic packaging for six-packs across three of its most popular snack brands: Discos, Roysters and Frisps.
