Morrisons offering 5p off every litre of fuel this month to help customers save cash

Morrisons is helping its customers to save money on fuel this month by offering 5p off every litre at the pumps.

All customers who spend £35 in store or online at the supermarket chain between Thursday 13th April and Sunday 23rd April will receive a voucher giving them 5p off every litre of fuel purchased.

The coupon is redeemable at all Morrisons petrol stations and customers have until Monday 1st May to spend it.

However, the required £35 customer spend excludes certain items: fuel, tobacco, lottery products, Morrisons café,  gift vouchers and cards, among others.

This latest fuel offer is one of several recent moves being made by Morrisons to help its customers’ money go further.

In March, Morrisons rolled out a further 490 product price cuts and extended its commitment to customers that it will have over 1,000 prices locked low for at least eight weeks.

The retailer also has returned to growth for the first time in two years, as it posted its first increase in sales since it was bought for £7bn by private equity giant Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in 2021.

“We know that fuel remains a significant cost for many households and so this offer aims to help budgets go a little further,” chief customer and marketing officer at Morrisons, Rachel Eyre said.

“It is the third time we have run it this year and alongside our in store price cuts demonstrates our commitment to helping our customers with their household bills.”
