Sold exclusively in Walmart from this month, product availablility is set to expand to additional retailers in autumn.

“Our Temptations brand has an established history of irresistibility, with a loyal feline fanbase that loves Temptations treats,” Mars Petcare North America vice predisent of marketing, Jean-Paul Jansen said.

“We hear from cat parents all the time about how much their cats go crazy for them, so the natural next step was to bring that same delicious appeal to mealtime.

“Part of being a cat parent is trying to earn the approval of your cat, and we know the new Temptations Dry Cat Food will help break down that cool cat exterior and allow a new and unique way for cats and their parents to bond.”

This comes as Temptations is also expanding its treat offerings with Tender Fills treats, which are crunchy on the outside with a creamy filling on the inside and feature an open pocket design that allows cat owners to see the dual texture.

It is also launching two new flavours of its Creamy Purrrr-ée treats in Beef Liver and Cheese.
