The dedicated display areas at retailer will include many of the confectioner’s best-selling chocolate bar flavours, such as chilli and lime flavoured ‘Hot Pickle’, floral ‘Happy Hippy’, classic milk ‘Smooth Operator’, and top favourite ‘Happiness’ with salted caramelised hazelnuts.

Coupled with Montezuma’s hand-crafted truffle boxes, the range will also provide options for vegans.

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Montezuma’s on this new project. Their chocolate is exceptionally good quality, with some delicious flavours and their ethical sourcing credentials are very strong too,” Waitrose head of category Giles Fisher said.

“I’m sure our customers will be delighted to discover more of the wonderful world of Montezuma’s in Waitrose.”

Montezuma sales director Caroline Gibbs added: “We’ve worked in close collaboration with Waitrose to create a new, exciting and colourful in store fixture, which will bring the world of Montezuma’s to many new shoppers.

“Our relationship with Waitrose/John Lewis & Partners has developed tremendously and we’re very excited to see this go live in store.”
