Waitrose’s customer director behind brand’s Xmas ads departs from his role

Waitrose’s customer director Martin George has departed his role after more than five years at the company.

George has spearheaded various marketing campaigns for the brand including the Waitrose Christmas ads and the ‘You can taste when it’s Waitrose & Partners’ campaign.

The ex-customer director intends to attain non-executive positions and attribute more time towards charity work, mentoring and coaching. In spite of his departure, he will however continue his support of the supermarket’s customer team until his replacement is hired.
