Ocado launches free Disney cooking course for Easter

Ocado will be launching a specially designed Disney-themed cookery course during the Easter holidays.

The School of Magical Mealtimes, which will be open from 11 April to 14 April in central London, will offer amateur chefs the opportunity to earn a qualification.

Additionally, the two-hour culinary experience will use the online grocer’s new range of Disney-inspired family friendly meal bundles which is available at Ocado.com/Disney.

The free event also includes healthy and easy-to-make recipes inspired from Disney’s iconic characters such as Moana, 101 Dalmations, Lion King and Frozen.

Ocado has opened the event to those four and above in a bid to provide an educational experience after research revealed eight out of ten parents believe cooking from scratch with their child can encourage healthier eating habits.

The news comes as Marks and Spencer was expected to confirm its food delivery venture with Ocado which could result in a payment of £200 million given to the online grocer.

The next financial hurdle must be met by November 2023 and bosses at both establishments are confident that the goals will be met.
