Asda has launched a new scratch-cooking range that includes over 130 pre-prepared ingredients and more than 40 brand-new products.
Spanning over 10 cuisines, such as Indian, Thai, Japanese and more, the Cook by Asda range encourages shoppers to experiment with different flavours and get creative in the kitchen.
The range will launch this month and start at 80p, with highlights including Massaman Paste, Laksa Paste, Chipotle Breadcrumbs and Nooch Seasoning.
Shoppers who are keen to cook more Asian-inspired dishes can pick up Gochujang Paste (£1.25) or Lemongrass Paste (£1.25), suitable for curries, soups, stews or marinades.
According to research from Asda, over half of UK home cooks enjoy experimenting with new cooking trends and ingredients, however, one in five feel like they struggle to get the seasoning right.
The supermarket chain is also offering video guidance and recommendations on how to use the products, as well as step-by-step recipes, presented by a range of social media food creators.

Assistant brand manager at Asda Ellie Beecham commented: “At Asda, we believe that healthy, flavoursome cooking should be accessible to all, which is why we’ve developed our new range, Cook by Asda, and we hope it will inspire customers to scratch cook from home.
“Whether you’re looking to add some excitement to weeknight family meals or cook a date-night dinner to impress, our new range can transform any dish, making home-cooking easy and delicious.”
Last month, the grocery giant unveiled a new TikTok content house, which brought together five food creators to inspire home cooks across the UK.
