Nando’s has launched a range of new seasoning blends, which they say will ‘flavour up’ family meals at home.

The new Flavour Shakers are made with a mix of herbs and spices, and are available in three iconic flavours from the Nando’s Peri-ometer, Lemon & Herb, Garlic & Herb, and Medium.

On top of being vegan-friendly, they are also “a deliciously easy and affordable way to transform any dish,” the restaurant company said.

Free from artificial preservatives, colours and flavours, Nando’s new Flavour Shakers are suitable for vegans, with the chicken chain timing the release for the start of Veganuary next month.

The seasoning blends can be used before, during or after cooking on a variety of meals, so all cooks in the family can “shake, sprinkle and flavour up” their favourite foods,” Nando’s added.

Flavour Shakers are now available to buy in select retailers such as ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Ocado.

Nando’s Peri-peri chicken wings became a casualty of Covid-related upheaval in the food industry last summer, with a shortage of chicken forcing Nando’s to temporarily close a 10th of its restaurants at the time.
