Tesco unveils its 2026 Accelerator Programme cohort

Tesco has announced the latest nine brands which will join this year’s Accelerator Programme, as part of the sixth cohort.

The scheme aims to offer support to new brands with high potential within the retail market.

According to the business, the brands will receive an opportunity to secure a retail listing and be stocked on Tesco’s shelves in the future.

The supermarket retailer’s programme has backed over 90 brands to date and provides year-long mentoring with the Tesco Buying team.

According to the business, these nine brands were chosen to deliver innovation for customers while supporting the retailer’s goal to push towards new products from upcoming businesses.

Helena Dennis, lead Accelerator Programme manager said: “We’re really excited to announce a further nine brands as part of our Accelerator Programme. This specially selected cohort brings a range of exciting and innovative products to our aisles.

“Not only does our Accelerator Programme give smaller businesses a little boost to grow, it also helps customers discover new brands during the weekly shop.”

The nine brands which were selected include virgin olive oil brands Citizens of Soil and Glug, dairy drink Dedcalm and dumpling business Mr Chens.

Other brands featured include Frood, Eaten Alive, Nice Rice, Coco Gen and Skinner’s.

The grocery retailer first launched its Accelerator Programme in February 2024 and has since expanded it to include various businesses.
