Morrisons has launched a new promotion for its loyalty card members, which will begin on 8 October and marks the completion of the More Card integration to franchised stores.

As part of the promotion, More Card members can receive 1500 points after spending £15 or more in a Morrisons Daily franchise store.

The new promotion is only available in Morrisons franchise stores and is part of the supermarket’s goal to strengthen its independent retailer partnerships.

Katharine Challinor, head of retail for franchise at Morrisons, said: “Rolling out More Card in franchise stores is part of our commitment to driving value for our customers, however they shop with us.

”This exclusive promotion is a significant opportunity for our franchise partners, as well as a celebratory moment for us as the More Card roll-out nears completion in these stores.”

After earning up to 5000 points, customers will receive a Morrisons Fiver that can be redeemed in the retailer’s supermarket or online store.

Alongside the new promotion, exclusive to franchise stores, Morrisons is further strengthening the franchise offer with the addition of over 200 new own-brand lines being introduced over the next five weeks.

Morrisons currently operates nearly 1,700 Morrisons Daily Stores, with a high number operated by independent retail franchisers.
