Founder Jenny Costa said: “Rubies has you covered for classic table sauces; now we’re taking things up a gear with tangy, fiery hot sauces and sweet, spicy hot honey. Each bottle rescues produce that was destined to be wasted and adds a flavour punch to elevate your everyday dishes.”
The brand was founded in 2012 to encourage sustainable production and tackle food waste from surplus fruits and vegetables.
Rubies in the Rubble also offers various products as part of its core range, including ketchup, American style mustard and vegan mayo.
According to the business, the brand has saved 10.7m fruit and vegetable products from going to waste and avoided 1m kg of CO₂ emissions.
