\nM&S is recruiting 10,000 new customer assistants to provide support in its stores over the busy Christmas period.<\/p>\n
The number of vacancies is more than a 40% increase on last year as the upmarket retailer looks to provide customers with futher assistance in the next few months across both food, and clothing and home sections.<\/p>\n
The roles will involve engaging with shoppers and serving customers on the shop floor and at service points, ensuring shelves and railes are stocked.<\/p>\n
Colleagues will also help to deliver M&S’ Christmas Food to Order service in stores.<\/p>\n
