Iceland has lowered its thresholds for its free delivery services in stores and online, in response to the rising cost of living.

According the frozen food retailer, the initiative is being introduced to combat the rising cost of living experienced by its customers, helping those with lower weekly shopping budgets to access free delivery

In addition, the offer of free delivery will reduce fuel bills associated with grocery shopping as fuel prices continue to increase.

As a result the retailer will reduce the minimum order value for its online free next day delivery service from £40 to £35.
