Waitrose has expanded its ‘fakeaway’ range with the debut of restaurant brand Urban Pizza.
Designed to recreate the traditional takeaway in a home setting, the new range features products from pizzas to sides and dippers, such as The Big Cheeseburger, The Carbonara, The Pepperoni and The Margherita.
Rolling out today (7 August), the supermarket has also launched an introductory offer of 25% off all products until 25 September.

Waitrose senior development chef Zoe Simons said: “The urban pizza scene is booming with restaurants opening all around the world, so we wanted to give our customers the same great taste and trends at home.
“We already have our Waitrose No.1 and Waitrose Stonebaked pizza ranges, which our customers know and love – Urban Pizza has given us the opportunity to experiment and to bring new and exciting pizza trends from the urban pizza scene to shelves.”
The new range follows a slew of innovations debuted recently. In June, the upmarket grocer relaunched its premium No.1 range with nearly 200 new and improved products.
